Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo stands for “Fifth of May” in Spanish, and is celebrated on the 5th of May, in memory of the unlikely victory of the Mexican Army over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It is often confused as Mexico’s Independence Day which is September 16, and it is often more celebrated in the United States than anywhere else.

How else would we celebrate great culture and heritage other than throwing themed parties and having parades dressed up head to toe, eating endless amounts of guacamole and drinking bottomless margaritas?! There is no better way! So grab your sombrero and get ready for a full day of great culture and heritage!
