Summer Solstice
What do you know about it?
Well summer solstice is here, and you may be wondering what that even means? So we have done a little research and looked in to it! This is what we learned and felt the need to share! So some of you may know that summer solstice is in fact the start of summer, and just happens to be the longest day of the year! Don’t get excited yet though, our sources tell us that on this day the tilt of the Earth’s axis is most inclined towards the sun and is directly about the Tropic of Cancer.
What that means is that the days will start to become steadily shorter as the slow, sad charge to winter begins. But good news, we won’t notice the days becoming shorter for some time yet! So enjoy the sun and what is left of this wonderful summer! Just in case this news has bummed you out completely, we have come up with ways to consider enjoying the rest of the warm weather for you!
Throw a pool party
If you don’t have a pool, go to someone else’s!

Have a water balloon fight
Go to a water park
Go on a vacation
Have an outside movie night
